Product Development Engineer- Aerospace- Lakeville, MA
The Product Development Engineer will be a key player in new developments of components and parts essential in the aerospace industry.

Description
The Product Development Engineer will be responsible for:
- Identify and implement optimal production methods for new product launches.
- Manage design projects through key phases, including Input, Output, Verification, and Validation.
- Review and approve design modifications, specifications, and drawing releases.
- Assess, test, and integrate alternative products to meet specifications and quality standards
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to troubleshoot and resolve product issues, providing technical guidance across departments.
- Champion Lean principles, actively driving and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
Profile
The successful Product Development Engineer will have what follows:
- Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or other 3D engineering software.
- Familiarity with automotive, aerospace, or industrial quality standards.
- Experience with Six Sigma, continuous improvement, or other problem-solving methodologies for effective solution implementation.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is highly beneficial.
