Director, Business Systems
The Director, Business Systems will oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of business systems to drive organizational efficiency and effectiveness. Description
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of core business systems to meet organizational goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify system requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Oversee system integrations to ensure seamless data flow and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system processes and configurations.
- Monitor system performance and address any issues proactively to minimize downtime.
- Identify opportunities to enhance existing systems and recommend improvements.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with agreed service levels.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the technology team, fostering a culture of growth and innovation.

- Ensure AI capabilities are thoughtfully integrated into every initiative-enhancing automation, decision-making, and user productivity. Identify practical use cases, govern responsible adoption, and partner with stakeholders to operationalize AI in ways that deliver measurable business value.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and effective system solutions
- Manage and mentor a team of business systems analysts, administrators, and developers to ensure high-quality deliverables and continuous improvement
- Establish and maintain best practices, standards, and policies for business systems development, deployment, and maintenance
- Evaluate emerging technologies and trends in business systems and recommend innovative solutions to enhance business capabilities
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, Operations, Ecomm, and Sales, to align business systems initiatives with organizational goals
- Monitor system performance, identify areas for optimization, and implement solutions to address issues and enhance system reliability
- Develop and manage the business systems budget, including resource planning, cost estimation, and vendor management
- Analyzes complex business needs presented by the user community and/or clients and recommends technical solutions
- Participates in all hardware and software evaluations and maintains vendor contract
Profile
A successful Director, Business Systems should have:
- A strong background in business systems and technology, particularly within the business services industry.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and implement system improvements.
- Experience with system integration and data management processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving organizational goals.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- 10 years of experience in business systems management or a related role, with demonstrated progression in responsibilities
- Strong technical expertise in ERP, Financial Planning systems, Digital Asset Management systems, and other business systems, with proficiency in system design, development, and integration
- Proven leadership skills, with experience leading and developing high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail

Job Offer
