Superintendent- Silverdale, WA
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage daily operations on construction sites in Silverdale, WA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial construction, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Client Details
Our client is an established Regional General Contractor that primarily focuses on tenant improvements and ground up commercial construction. Their projects range from $2 to $50M in value, focusing on medical, industrial, k-12 tenant improvements. The company is experiencing constant growth due to market growth and a diverse pipeline.
Description
Project Management: Oversee all aspects of the commercial construction process, from planning to completion.
Team Supervision: Direct and coordinate subcontractors, laborers, and suppliers to ensure efficiency and adherence to project timelines.
Scheduling & Coordination: Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely material delivery and workforce allocation.
Quality Control: Conduct inspections and enforce building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Safety Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing OSHA regulations and company policies.
Budget & Cost Management: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and track progress to prevent overruns.
Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve construction-related issues efficiently to prevent project delays.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and site documentation.
Profile
Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
Proven track record of managing mid-to-large-scale commercial projects
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
Proficiency in reading blueprints, plans, and technical documents
Experience with scheduling software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, or MS Project)
OSHA 30 certification preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Valid driver's license and ability to travel between job sites
