My client is seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Manager to oversee and enhance the efficiency of our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing production processes, driving operational improvements, and leading teams. As the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless daily operations while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Job Description
- Operational Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing facility, including production, quality control, maintenance, and shipping. Ensure production goals are met while adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements to boost productivity, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency. Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors and production staff. Create a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, accountability, and professional development.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures. Address and resolve quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety
- audits and provide training to maintain a safe working environment.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and material flow. Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the operations budget. Monitor expenses and implement cost-control measures to stay within budget.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, including production metrics, quality issues, and cost analysis. Provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Customer Focus: Work with the customer service team to address any production-related issues or concerns and ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Profile
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within a manufacturing setting. Experience in similar industries is advantageous.
- Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ERP systems. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge: Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations. Familiarity with inventory management and production planning.
Job Offer
- Salary up to $175,000 depending on level of experience
