Position Overview:
The Assistant Superintendent will be responsible for assisting with onsite project management, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and quality control.
This role requires a detail-oriented, hands-on professional with a strong background in multifamily construction.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in overseeing daily field operations and subcontractor management.
Maintain construction schedules, ensuring projects stay on track.
Enforce safety regulations and OSHA compliance.
Monitor quality control and resolve on-site challenges.
Support documentation, including RFIs, daily logs, and material tracking.

Concrete mid-rise
Concrete conversion with wood-frame Type 3A

My client, a top multifamily builder, is seeking an Assistant Superintendent in the DC Metro area to assist with onsite construction management, scheduling, and quality control for upcoming projects, including three breaking ground in Arlington and new builds starting in Rockville and Alexandria. Profile
- 5-6+ years of experience in construction, with a strong focus on multifamily or senior living projects.
- Proven stability in previous roles-multiple projects with the same company preferred (job hoppers will not be considered).
- Experience with wood-frame and concrete construction.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
