Project Manager - Big Box Retail Construction

Working with a leading construction GC in the mixed commercial space that's in search of a talented PM with extensive big box retail construction experience.

Client Details

Our client is a National General Contractor that specializes in retail, grocer,y restaurant, and automotive construction. With over 25 years of experience and a strong client base, they are looking to expand their big box retail construction division.

Description

• Manage and/or coordinate Company personnel and resources for the project
• Assist with preconstruction efforts
• Manage all aspects of project from inception
• Prepare trade contracts and bid packages, as well as oversee procurement process
• Oversee performance of project including, project status, schedule, cost control, change management systems
• Maintain relationships with clients, designers and consultants
• Attend and lead project meetings, including progress, pre-construction and pre-award
• Review inspection and test data for compliance with specifications
• Develop and maintain site logistics plan, in coordination with Superintendent
• Demonstrate commitment to an Injury-Free Environment through own actions
• Mentorship of more junior PMs and support staff

Profile

• Experience in Big Box Retail construction required
• Ability to visit job-site every other week throughout the U.S.
• MUST have estimating experience
• Technical degree level education in construction or related field
• 5+ years of experience working in the construction industry
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Stable work record
• Knowledge in Construction Management or related field required

Job Offer

Base Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 + benefits
