Assistant Project Manager
Client Details
This South Florida-based general contractor specializes in education developments across the region, consistently delivering projects valued at $50M+. The team is known for long-term employee retention, stability, and a supportive environment where supers are trusted with autonomy and backed by strong project pipelines.
Description
- Support Project Managers in overseeing all phases of education construction projects.
- Assist with RFIs, submittals, schedules, budgets, and change order processing.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site activities.
- Attend client and design team meetings, ensuring project alignment.
- Maintain documentation and contribute to reporting processes.
- Support project closeout activities, ensuring timely and complete turnover.
Profile
3+ years of experience as an APM with a general contractor.
Strong tenure and track record of completing projects from start to finish.
Experience with higher ed / K12 projects is preferred
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to read/interpret blueprints and manage MEP, structural, and finish trades.
OSHA certification and proficiency in Procore/Bluebeam preferred.
