Description

As a Manufacturing Supervisor you will be responsible for:

• Lead a small manufacturing team and oversee daily operations.
• Manage staffing, schedules, and labor tracking.
• Review ERP/MRP to release work and monitor production flow.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and union standards.
• Collaborate with materials, shipping, and cross-functional teams.
• Support audits, document procedures, and identify training opportunities.
• Track KPIs and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Profile

A successful Manufacturing Supervisor should have:

• 5+ years managing manufacturing teams in a heavy industrial or metal machining environment.
• Experience with unionized workforces and strong knowledge of union contracts.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling.
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Knowledge of corporate quality management systems and OSHA/EH&S compliance.
• Ability to train, coach, and develop team members on the shop floor.
• Comfortable leading daily operations while driving continuous improvement.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to track KPIs and implement process improvements.
