Description

  • Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for precision-machined aerospace components.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to enhance manufacturability and reduce lead times.
  • Utilize CAD/CAM software to develop tooling, fixtures, and machining programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with AS9100 and other aerospace standards.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) by developing and validating manufacturing processes.
  • Train and support production staff on best practices and process improvements.
  • Maintain documentation of manufacturing procedures and process control plans.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the aerospace industry.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machining, GD&T, and precision manufacturing techniques.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam, or similar).
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 and aerospace quality standards.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
