Manufacturing Engineer - Manufacturing - Rochester, NH

My client is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support process improvement and project management initiatives. In this role you will report into the Engineering Manager and utilize strong problem-solving skills, root cause analysis to troubleshoot and investigate problems. You will also manage projects regarding NPI, supplier relationships, and design changes.

Description

The Manufacturing Engineer will:

• Analyze and resolve production issues to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Identify root causes of recurring problems and implement sustainable solutions.
• Document findings and develop actionable plans for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate new product introductions and manage tooling or equipment projects.
• Review designs and work closely with suppliers and internal teams to meet timelines and quality standards.
• Maintain clear communication and strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Partner with technical teams to ensure designs align with manufacturing requirements.
• Utilize design software (such as SolidWorks or similar) for reviews and collaboration.
• Provide hands-on support for process optimization and technical problem-solving.

Profile

A successful Manufacturing Engineer should have the following qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field.
• Experience in molding, machining, or similar manufacturing processes preferred.
• Proficiency in design software- ideally SolidWorks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
