Technical BA, Accounting & Finance

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst with a solid background in accounting, P&L, and balance sheet analysis. The ideal candidate will support the development of an accounting engine and subledger solution to streamline finance architectures, with strong preference given to those experienced with Broadridge Systems.

Description

• Provide technical support and business analysis to develop accounting engines and subledger solutions, working with stakeholders to design accounting treatments for various products.
• Resolve system issues (e.g., trade capture errors, position discrepancies) and collaborate with IT teams to enhance systems.
• Analyze business requirements, develop technical solutions, and maintain documentation for accounting and finance functions.
• Design P&L and balance sheet reports, identify data trends, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve processes and implement solutions.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with 5+ years of experience in accounting or technical business analysis.
• Expertise in accounting, P&L, balance sheet analysis, and configuring treatments for products like fixed income, equity, repo, and tri-party.
• Experience building and implementing accounting engines and subledger solutions (e.g., Oracle OFSAA, Aptitude AAH, SAP Accounting Rules Engine).
• Strong understanding of technical systems and business processes, with experience using Broadridge (BPSA, IMPACT A) and S&P Global (WSO, ClearPar).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Experience with agile methodologies, greenfield projects, and SQL for data analysis.
