Participating in the design process providing budget, schedule, and construct-ability input

Managing relationships and interfacing with appropriate personnel on a daily basis
Preparing requests for proposals, analyzing/aligning bids, making award recommendation
Negotiating and preparing construction & consultant contracts
Providing day-to-day management, technical direction, supervision and coordination of construction activities
Reviewing and tracking project invoices, RFIs, Submitals, Budgets
Developing, managing, and updating project schedule
Evaluating and negotiating pay requests and change orders
Administering punch list and project close-out activities
Reporting project status regularly

Assistant Project Manager - Multifamily Developer - Allston MA
We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager specializing in luxury ground-up multifamily construction to join our team in Boston. The ideal candidate will support project execution, ensuring high-quality delivery within established timelines and budgets. This candidate will sit 100% on site the Allston project.

Description
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising luxury ground-up multifamily construction projects.
- Support the Project Manager in managing project budgets, schedules, and overall execution.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards across all project stages.
- Maintain effective communication with clients to address project updates and concerns.
- Assist in resolving any project-related issues promptly and effectively.
- Contribute to the preparation of project documentation and closeout processes.

Profile
A successful Assistant Project Manager - Luxury Ground Up Multifamily should have:
- 2+ years experience
- Experience with Ground Up Multifamily projects
- Experience in construction management, specifically in luxury multifamily projects.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively manage project tasks and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- An understanding of construction safety and quality standards.
- A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
