Architectural Project Manager - New Jersey Construction
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Architectural Project Manager to lead the design and execution of commercial projects across New Jersey. This role involves managing internal teams, coordinating with consultants, and representing the firm with clients from project conception through construction completion.

Our client is a well-established and respected Construction firm with an in-house architectural team based in Central New Jersey, specializing in commercial architecture with a growing portfolio in laboratory and research facilities. Description
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee multiple commercial architecture projects from design through construction.
Ensure compliance with New Jersey building and zoning codes.
Manage and supervise in-house drafters and external consultants through all project phases.
Prepare detailed schematic designs and construction documentation.
Coordinate and track project budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
Act as the primary point of contact with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Produce and manage project documentation including RFI responses, meeting minutes, punch lists, and change orders.
Profile
The Successful Candidate
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (Master's preferred).
10+ years of experience in commercial architectural design, with 5+ years in a project management role (10+ years for senior candidates).
Experience with laboratory design is a significant plus.
Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
Deep knowledge of New Jersey construction codes and permitting processes.
Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit; strong documentation and communication skills.
