Quality Engineer - Manufacturing - Chicopee, MA

Description
- Develop and maintain quality systems and objectives.
- Review design and quality documentation for compliance.
- Analyze quality data using statistical methods for process improvement.
- Make decisions on product acceptance and vendor relationships.
- Develop and implement inspection, testing, and evaluation methods.
- Lead quality assurance activities in design and manufacturing.
- Conduct internal and external quality audits.
- Serve as a quality representative for problem resolution and continuous improvement.
- Prepare quality-related documentation and reports.
- Develop and deliver quality training programs.
- Interface with suppliers and customers on quality issues.
Profile
- B.S. in Engineering or equivelent
- Expertise in quality systems and statistical analysis.
- Proven ability to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Strong communication and auditing skills.
- Experience with quality documentation (e.g., PPAP, FAI).
- Technical background in engineering or a related field
