Legal Recruiting Specialist
The Legal Recruiting Specialist will support all aspects of attorney recruitment and on boarding for the New York office, including lateral, entry-level, and summer associate hiring. Working closely with the Legal Recruiting Manager, this individual will be a critical part of a fast-paced and high-performing team

The New York office is seeking a dynamic Legal Recruiting Specialist to join our growing Talent team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional looking to advance their career in legal recruiting at a top-tier law firm.
Description
Coordinate full-cycle recruitment for summer associates, entry-level, and lateral attorney hires
Organize and execute on-campus interview (OCI) logistics, callback interviews, and offer processes
Support planning and execution of the Summer Associate Program, including events, assignments, and evaluations
Manage candidate communications, applicant tracking, and scheduling with precision and discretion
Maintain and update recruitment databases (e.g., viRecruit) and generate regular reports
Collaborate with partners, hiring committees, and other internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless candidate experience
Stay abreast of legal hiring trends and peer firm activity to help shape strategic recruiting initiatives
Assist with diversity recruiting efforts and support the firm's DEI goals
Profile
Bachelor's degree required
2-4+ years of legal recruiting or professional services recruiting experience (law firm experience strongly preferred)
Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with viRecruit or similar ATS a plus
Willingness to work in-office four days per week and attend occasional after-hours events during peak recruiting seasons
Job Offer
