Senior Project Manager
We are looking for an experienced Construction Senior Project Manager to oversee our commercial construction projects in the Detroit area. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects while ensuring they meet all quality, safety, and budgetary requirements. Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all phases of commercial construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Regular site inspections are conducted to monitor progress and quality of work.
- Identify and address potential project risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular project updates and addressing their concerns.
- Lead a team of project professionals, including project engineers and coordinators.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and innovation within the project team.
Profile
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager in commercial construction.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
