Our client, a full-service general contracting and construction management firm, is seeking a Project Manager to join their team. With a track record of success spanning over 30 years, they specialize in healthcare construction and also work across education, government, retail, restaurant, and commercial interiors. The company has recently secured a major contract with Children's National Hospital, creating an influx of exciting projects.

Our client is a well-established general contracting and construction management firm based in Gaithersburg, MD. With over 30 years of experience, they have built a reputation for excellence in healthcare construction, their core market. They also bring expertise to additional sectors such as education, government, retail, restaurant, and commercial interiors.The company prides itself on delivering high-quality projects ranging from $1M to $15M, with durations typically spanning 16-22 weeks. Their team of approximately 35 professionals includes seasoned project managers, superintendents, and support staff, many of whom have been with the organization for years, reflecting a strong sense of loyalty and stability within their workforce.
Recently awarded a significant contract with a major healthcare organization, our client is poised for continued growth and is looking to expand its project management team. They offer a collaborative work environment with opportunities to lead diverse projects and build lasting client relationships.
Description
- Oversee 3-4 projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
- Foster strong client relationships in a client-facing role while maintaining professional communication.
- Lead project teams and subcontractors with clear directives and efficient decision-making.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to drive process improvements and uphold high-performance standards.
Profile
- 5-10 years of experience in general contracting, with a strong healthcare construction background.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage hospital-based projects or healthcare-related facilities.
- At least 2-3 years of experience as a Project Manager (not Assistant PM).
- Strong tenure at current and previous employers, indicating a commitment to growth and long-term success.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

- Base Salary: Up to $120k (flexible for standout candidates).
