Description
The General Manager is responsible for:
- Overseeing revenue, production, and staff
- Ensuring operational, financial, and staff health
- Driving operational efficiency, and building / training teams
- Developing and implementing strategies to achieve revenue and efficiency goals
- Collaborating with corporate on long-term growth initiatives
- Leading and supporting a team of office and field personnel, conducting annual performance reviews, and managing hiring and training initiatives
- Overseeing project budgets, managing overhead costs, and monitoring Accounts Receivable to ensure optimal financial health
- Serving as the primary contact for key clients, particularly with insurance companies, to maintain strong program relationships
- Continuously refining systems and processes to drive productivity and quality within the office
Profile
The right General Manager has the following qualifications:
- 4+ years in a project management or business leadership role, with a background in restoration or residential construction preferred
- Construction Management or related degree (4y Bachelors)
- IICRC, WRT, or AMRT certifications are highly valued (if coming from a restoration background)
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with restoration software like DASH or CoreLogic is a plus
- Demonstrated tenure in prior roles
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to build, lead, and mentor teams effectively
- Must be based in the Greater Boston area, with flexibility to travel to job sites within a 90-mile radius (truck provided)
