Manufacturing - Plant Manager - Ashland, VA
As a Plant Manager, you will oversee all daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while leading capital projects and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will develop and mentor a high-performing team, manage budgets and KPIs, and champion sustainability efforts to enhance productivity and operational excellence.

Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute annual operating and capital plans.
- Lead daily plant operations while ensuring safety and compliance.
- Manage capital projects from planning through commissioning.
- Monitor KPIs, reduce costs, minimize downtime, and improve productivity.
- Drive continuous improvement and sustainability efforts.
- Build, mentor, and coach a strong, accountable operations team.
- Maintain employee engagement and development through training and consistent leadership practices.
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in a plant or production environment.
- Strong technical/mechanical knowledge; paper or plastics background a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
- Skilled in KPIs, lean manufacturing, OEE, and process improvement.
- Collaborative leader with strong communication, problem-solving, and change management abilities.
