Assistant Property Manager- Chicago, IL
The Assistant Property Manager will play a key role in the leasing operations of a 200-unit multifamily property. This position is focused on leasing apartments, conducting tours, handling resident inquiries, and ensuring that the property maintains high occupancy rates.

We are a dynamic Construction company dedicated to providing exceptional living experiences to our residents. With a strong commitment to customer service, we specialize in maintaining and leasing multifamily communities. We are currently seeking a proactive Assistant Property Manager to join our team and support the leasing efforts of a 200-unit multifamily property in Chicago. The Assistant Property Manager will play a key role in the leasing operations of a 200-unit multifamily property. This position is focused on leasing apartments, conducting tours, handling resident inquiries, and ensuring that the property maintains high occupancy rates. The Assistant Property Manager will also work closely with the Property Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the property, focusing on tenant satisfaction and leasing goals.

Leasing & Tenant Relations:
- Actively market and lease available apartment units to prospective residents, utilizing various marketing tools and strategies.
- Conduct property tours with potential tenants, highlighting key features and benefits of the apartments and community.
- Follow up with leads and maintain a proactive leasing pipeline.
- Assist in the application process, including screening applicants, preparing lease documents, and ensuring proper documentation.
- Maintain a strong relationship with current residents, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly.

Administrative Support:
- Assist in preparing and executing lease agreements, renewal leases, and related documents.
- Track and report leasing metrics, including occupancy rates, lease expirations, and renewal statistics.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident files, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant with regulations.
- Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, ensuring smooth transitions for residents.

Marketing & Community Engagement:
- Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns to attract new residents.
- Update online listings and social media platforms to promote available units and property features.
- Help organize community events and resident engagement initiatives to foster a positive living environment.

Property Maintenance Coordination:
- Assist with routine property inspections, ensuring units and common areas are clean, well-maintained, and ready for leasing.
- Report maintenance requests and work with maintenance teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in leasing or property management, preferably in a multifamily environment.
- Strong knowledge of leasing and property management software (experience with Yardi, AppFolio, or similar platforms is a plus).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to build rapport with prospective and current residents.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Detail-oriented and able to handle administrative tasks with accuracy.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with others.
