Description

The is responsible for:

• Reviewing and coordinating construction drawings with tenants, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Supervising all construction activities on the project site
• Completing all required weekly documents, including but not limited to daily reports, photos, safety checklists, and toolbox talks
• Attending weekly job meetings with the team and clients
• Maintaining strict quality controls and performing regular quality inspections to ensure the final work product meets the highest quality standards
• Maintaining schedule and job site safety to ensure timely project completion
• Ensuring specified and approved products are being installed properly
• Monitoring daily project compliance with contract documents and safety regulations
• Managing project closeouts, including punch lists and final documentation
• Scheduling and coordinating all inspections, permits, sign-offs, and requests with local authorities
• Promoting teamwork by exhibiting dependability, responsibility, loyalty, flexibility, and a positive attitude

Profile

The Construction Superintendent - Ground Up Projects - Southern NH right candidate will have:

• Commercial Construction Superintendent experience with a GC (5+ years)
• Experience building ground-up Healthcare, Commercial, Education, Industrial and Retail projects valued at $10M+
• Currently holds title of Superintendent who is ready to take the next step as Lead
• Experience managing & developing other Superintendents
• Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting commercial construction plans, drawings, and specifications
• Good written and communication skills
• Skilled at negotiation and conflict resolution
• Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
• Familiarity with construction/project management
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (preferred)
• CPR/First Aid Certified
• 10-Hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health Certification
• 30-Hour OSHA (preferred)

Job Offer

The right candidate has the following qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Project Superintendent with a Commercial GC
• Experience running Ground Up projects is a MUST ($1M-$20M)
• Design/build experience & Steel/metal/wood framing knowledge is a plus
• Experience with project planning and scheduling, contracts, and project controls and procedures
• Software proficiency including: Microsoft Suite, Bluebeam, Word & Excel
• Massachusetts Construction Supervisor's License (CSL preferred)
• OSHA 10 certified (MUST have)
• OSHA 30 certified (preferred)
