Engineering Manager - Industrial - Lancaster, MA

My client is seeking a driven Engineering Manager with a strong background in the industrial manufacturing space. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing design engineers in two locations as well as working directly with customers.

Description

The Engineering Manager's day-to-day responsibilities will include the following items:

• Lead and manage the engineering team
• Report into the Director of Engineering
• Oversee the design engineers of two locations
• Work directly with ERP Systems
• Develop and implement strategic plans
• Ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency in all projects
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve company goals
• Regularly report on department performance to senior management
• Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing for the department
• Ensure all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes comply with established regulations and standards

Profile

The successful Engineering Manager should have:

• A Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 5-8 years of experience
• Experience in management
• 2-3 years of experience in Program/Project management
• Experience in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Design Engineering
• Experience working with ERP systems, technical writing, and reading drawings and blueprints
