The Process Engineer will lead molding process development, qualification, and optimization to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, approving process changes, and supporting production control while maintaining strict compliance with safety standards.

Description

This Process Engineer:

• Develop and qualify molding processes, molds, and machines.
• Create process windows and approve changes.
• Troubleshoot complex molding issues beyond technician level.
• Collaborate with production control on mold/machine assignments.
• Approve cavity adjustments, mold protection changes, and 'Run on Hold' rejects.
• Develop training materials and process documentation.

Profile

A successful process engineer should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Plastics or related discipline.
• 4-6 years of plastic processing experience in molding operations.
• Strong mechanical and process knowledge of molding technology.
• Proficient in technical software, blueprint reading, and problem-solving.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals.
