Description

• Project Estimation & Cost Analysis: Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing project plans, specifications, and related documents.
• Quantity Takeoffs: Perform accurate material and labor quantity takeoffs to develop comprehensive cost projections.
• Bid Preparation & Submission: Develop and submit competitive bids by coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Subcontractor & Vendor Coordination: Solicit and evaluate pricing from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive and accurate pricing.
• Value Engineering: Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or project requirements.
• Market & Cost Trend Analysis: Stay informed on material costs, labor rates, and market conditions to ensure accurate pricing.
• Collaboration with Project Teams: Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and other stakeholders to align estimates with project execution.
• RFI Management: Identify gaps in project documents and submit Requests for Information (RFIs) to clarify scope and pricing assumptions.
• Budgeting & Proposal Development: Assist in developing project budgets, feasibility studies, and preconstruction planning efforts.

Profile

• 3+ years experience with a general contractor in an estimating role
• Must have previous project experience on ground-up builds
• 4 year Bachelors degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field of study preferred
• Must have an outstanding business acumen and professional demeanor to manage client relationships
• Possess the team's values of integrity, humility, and self-improvement
• Software proficiency with the following preferred but not required: REVIT, 3D Models, AutoDesk, Onscreen Takeoff

Job Offer

• Base salary DOE 95,000-130,000
• Annual bonus target 20%
• $800/month vehicle allowance
• 401K with employer match
