This Estimator role involves developing accurate cost estimates, managing bid processes, and collaborating with the preconstruction team to ensure project success. The position reports to the VP of Preconstruction and occasionally includes client-facing opportunities.

Description

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for commercial construction projects.
• Manage bid processes, including subcontractor and supplier engagement.
• Collaborate with the preconstruction team, including the VP of Preconstruction and estimators, to develop competitive proposals.
• Track project costs and maintain thorough documentation.
• Occasionally participate in client meetings to strengthen relationships and support project planning.

Profile

• At least 5 years of experience in estimating for commercial construction projects.
• Experience with self-storage, retail, grocery, or other commercial sectors is preferred.
• Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore and Sage 300.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
