Our client operates a state-of-the-art facility spanning over 750,000 square feet in the Rockford area, serving a diverse range of industries such as data centers, technology, healthcare, food and beverage, and more. With a strong foundation in engineering and production, they excel in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. They are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee key processes including metal fabrication, assembly, lasering, welding, and beyond. Description
- Maintain and further develop the QMS, utilizing previous experience in auditing (ISO9001)
- CI Implementation
- Lead a team of engineers and technicians, coaching and motivating towards common goals
- Establish strong control plans, SOPs, and top down integration
- Utilize quality core tools to drive continuous improvement efforts on a regular basis
- Develop and implement quality metrics, monitoring KPIs to ensure consistent evaluation and improvement across all operational areas
- Champion quality initiatives across departments, promoting the strong company culture that prioritizes high standards and accountability.
- Maintain and create strong working relationships both internally and externally through regular assessments and audits
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure quality standards are met and all stakeholders are aligned on business objectives
Profile
- In depth QMS experience and auditing experience, particularly ISO9001
- Ability to develop and maintain control plans and SOPs
- Servant leadership style, with proven track record in team building and management
- Metals/Metal Fabrication experience or Assembly experience
- Strong communicator that is able to adapt and promote change with ease
Job Offer
- Strong base salary ranging from $110,000 to $135,000
- Bonus package offered
