Process Engineer - Plastics Manufacturing - Derry, NH
As a Process Engineer, you will drive the innovation of new products, optimize existing products and processes, and resolve production challenges. Description
The Process Engineer will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:
- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues in production.
- Analyze process data and implement corrective actions to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and maintenance to drive process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Research and implement new technologies to improve manufacturing operations.

Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in plastics manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of plastic molding/extrusion/thermoforming processes.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
