Quality Manager - Packaging Manufacturer

This role is a Quality Manager position with a top-tier packaging manufacturer serving the personal care and food sectors. The successful candidate will oversee all QA/QC functions and play a key role in sustaining the company's ISO 9001 certification along with other industry compliance requirements.

Description

• Prepare and lead all internal and external audits, maintaining ISO9001 compliance
• Develop and handle all inspection and testing processes
• Manage a team of quality engineers to guide and train them on core quality activity
• Utilize data and resources internally to make informed business and operational decisions
• Work directly with the site general manager to ensure all business metrics are exceeded
• Handel all root cause analysis and subsequent corrective actions
• Maintain quality lab records
• Direct your team through non-conformance reporting and resolutions

Profile

• 3-5+ years of quality management or supervisor experience
• Working knowledge of plastics manufacturing, specifically injection molding and thermoforming
• Strong knowledge surrounding ISO9001 compliance
• Ability to speak directly with customers, handling all corrective actions
• Proven knowledge in Root Cause Analysis and problem solving methodologies like 8D/5Why
• Measurement and validation experience
• Food Grade manufacturing environment a plus
• Bachelors degree a plus

Job Offer

• Salary range: 75,000 to 105,000 depending on experience and interviews
