Project Manager - Design Build - Quincy, MA

We are partnering with a well‑established Construction Management firm in the Greater Boston area to identify a Mid‑Level to Senior Project Manager to support a growing pipeline of upcoming projects. This individual will be brought in at the PM level and is expected to run projects independently with a clear path toward senior‑level leadership.

Our client is a reputable Construction Management firm with over 25 years in the market, a strong base of repeat clients, and a growing presence across life sciences, science & technology, healthcare, academic, and corporate interiors. They generate approximately $250M in annual revenue and are on track to grow significantly over the next two years, supported by disciplined operations, long‑tenured leadership, and deep client relationships.

Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through closeout, with minimal oversight.

Key responsibilities include:

• Independently managing multiple construction projects from kickoff to completion
• Leading design‑build efforts on select upcoming projects (as applicable)
• Coordinating with owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors
• Managing schedules, budgets, procurement, and cost controls
• Overseeing RFIs, change management, submittals, and project documentation
• Supporting preconstruction, estimating handoffs, and bid reviews as needed
• Mentoring junior staff and helping balance project team workloads
• Maintaining strong client relationships to support repeat business

Profile

What the Successful Candidate Will Bring:

• 6-12+ years of construction management experience as a Project Manager
• Experience running projects independently
• Background in life sciences, science & technology, healthcare, or complex commercial work
• Design‑build project experience strongly preferred (not required)
• Experience with projects typically ranging from $5M-$50M+
• Proficiency with construction management software (experience with Autodesk Build a plus)
• Ability to work from a Quincy‑based office with site travel as projects require
