- Owning full P&L responsibility for the operation and driving safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance
- Leading day‑to‑day operations to ensure regulatory compliance and on‑time customer delivery
- Acting as a hands‑on, working leader to troubleshoot issues, cover gaps, and maintain workflow continuity
- Identifying, prioritizing, and resolving production constraints in a high‑growth environment
- Leading, coaching, and developing supervisors and teams through training, mentorship, and accountability
- Ensuring continuous compliance with FAA Part 145, internal manuals, and customer requirements
- Promoting and enforcing a zero‑harm safety culture through training, audits, and investigations
- Implementing Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and capacity
- Developing strategies to balance demand growth with labor, tooling, and facility limitations
- Partnering with leadership on long‑term growth planning, capital investment, and capability expansion
- Serving as a senior point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders
- Overseeing workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development
Profile
A successful candidate will have...
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aviation, Operations, Business, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in MRO, aerospace, manufacturing, or a regulated environment
- Proven success leading teams through growth, change, and operational constraint
- Strong operational and financial acumen with end‑to‑end ownership experience
- Hands‑on leadership style
- Working knowledge of aviation regulatory requirements and repair station operations
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
- FAA Repairman Certificate preferred or willingness to obtain
