Description

The Construction Project Manager Will:

  • Lead the planning, scheduling, budgeting, and overall delivery of commercial construction and capital improvement projects.
  • Drive project execution from preconstruction through close‑out, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance across all phases.
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, and internal field teams, maintaining clear communication, documentation, and accountability.
  • Coordinate closely with clients, providing updates, solving problems proactively, and ensuring expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Operate within established processes to track progress, control costs, and mitigate risks while keeping projects on schedule.
  • Deliver detailed reporting, change order documentation, and scope management to support smooth financial and operational outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional internal divisions-such as roofing, waterproofing, or concrete-as projects require.
  • Champion the company's standards for safety, craftsmanship, and customer service on every job site.

Profile The ideal construction Project Manager is an experienced commercial Project Manager with a strong background in managing renovation, restoration, improvement, or ground‑up projects within the built environment. They bring solid technical knowledge of construction means and methods, paired with strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills. This person thrives in a fast‑paced environment, understands how to manage multiple stakeholders, and is comfortable overseeing several mid‑sized projects simultaneously.

They have a proven ability to build trust with clients, guide field teams, and maintain high standards of safety and quality. Experience coordinating multiple trades-such as carpentry, waterproofing, roofing, concrete/asphalt, or similar scopes-is valuable. A solutions‑driven mindset, high attention to detail, and a collaborative approach are key traits for success in this role.
