We are partnered up with a $100M Manufacturing company in their search for a Senior Accountant to join their Accounting team and report up into the Controller. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience specifically within the Manufacturing industry and will have had exposure to inventory/cost accounting, AR, AP, and any financial analysis experience is a plus as well. Description

The Senior Accountant - Manufacturing will be responsible for the following:

• Accounts Receivable (AR): Manage invoicing, collections, and cash applications; monitor aging reports and resolve outstanding balances.

• Inventory Accounting: Track inventory transactions, perform monthly reconciliations, and support cycle counts and physical inventory audits.

• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and cost-saving opportunities; prepare monthly financial reports.

• Reconciliations: Perform account reconciliations, including bank statements, AR sub-ledgers, and inventory accounts.

• Month-End Close: Assist with journal entries, accruals, and adjustments to ensure timely and accurate month-end close.

• Internal Controls: Maintain and enhance internal control procedures and ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP.

• Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and reconciliations.

Profile

The ideal Senior Accountant - Manufacturing will have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Dynamics, Oracle, or NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Offer

The successful Senior Accountant - Manufacturing will be rewarded with the following:

• Base Salary of $80,000-$105,000 depending on experience
