Assistant Project Manager- Commercial Construction

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager with experience in ground-up commercial construction to join a dynamic general contractor in Miami. This role provides the opportunity to work on high-profile projects while supporting senior leadership in delivering successful builds on time and within budget.

Description

• Assist in managing the full lifecycle of ground-up commercial construction projects.

• Support the Project Manager and Superintendent with scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and procurement.

• Help track project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.

• Participate in meetings with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

• Assist with RFI (Requests for Information), submittals, change orders, and project documentation.

• Conduct site visits to monitor project status and ensure safety compliance.

Profile

• 2-5 years of experience in commercial construction, with a focus on ground-up projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).

• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to multitask.

• Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or other construction management software.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and solve problems proactively.
