Quality Manager

My client is looking for an experienced Quality Leader for their Farmington site. This individual will be responsible for overseeing a team of 10 within their inspection and lab department. They will also be assisting within audits, root cause and corrective actions, and customer interaction.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Quality Manager are:

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems to ensure products meet internal and external quality standards.
• Conduct regular quality audits and inspections on processes and products to identify areas of improvement and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Lead and manage the quality control team to ensure efficiency and productivity while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Investigate customer complaints or product issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of quality control throughout the manufacturing process.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices for metal finishing and chrome plating.
• Prepare and present regular reports to management regarding quality metrics, trends, and performance.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
• Provide training and support to employees on quality standards, inspection methods, and best practices.

Profile

The successful Quality Manager will have the following:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in a regulated Industry, (ISO 9001, AS 9100)
• 3+ years of leadership experience
• NADCAP Training
• Ability to work with customers
• Previous plating experience is highly preferred
