Description

• Analyze project blueprints and specifications to determine material, labor, and equipment costs.
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for multifamily residential developments.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to clarify project scope and requirements.
• Source and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities during preconstruction.
• Update estimates to reflect design changes or market fluctuations.
• Present and justify estimates to project managers, executives, and stakeholders.

Profile

• Minimum of 2 years of estimating experience in the multifamily or commercial construction sectors
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of estimating best practices
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• A passion for construction
