Description

• Design and execute operational plans aimed at boosting output and streamlining workflow throughout the production floor.
• Direct the daily functions of manufacturing to maintain schedule adherence and uphold product quality.
• Supervise and develop departmental leaders, encouraging ongoing skill development and a mindset focused on innovation and growth.
• Partner with departments such as engineering, quality control, and logistics to enhance efficiency and troubleshoot production challenges.
• Use production metrics and operational data to pinpoint inefficiencies and drive targeted improvements.
• Uphold workplace safety and regulatory standards, actively promoting a secure and compliant manufacturing environment.
• Oversee financial planning for production, including budgeting, staffing, and capital investment decisions.
• Report directly to executive leadership, delivering performance analysis and strategic operational updates.

Profile

• At least 7 years of leadership experience in a machining or production environment, ideally within a fast-paced, high-output setting.
• Demonstrated success in guiding teams toward operational targets and process improvements.
• In-depth knowledge of production workflows, with a focus on efficiency and lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective, data-informed solutions.
• Skilled in fostering cross-functional collaboration and communicating effectively across all organizational levels.
• A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Operations, or a comparable discipline; an advanced degree is considered advantageous.
• Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms and modern manufacturing technologies.
• Solid understanding of business operations, coupled with proven project leadership capabilities.
