CNC Manager

Opportunity to lead a growing department/team that is essential for day-to-day operations. Utilize prior CNC machining & leadership skills to coach subordinates & help develop the overall skill level within the machining department.

My client is a leading provider of high-quality manufacturing solutions, specializing in aluminum die casting for a wide range of industries, including automotive, consumer products, and industrial equipment. With a state-of-the-art facility located in the Northwest suburbs, my client is expanding their capabilities and looking for the right individuals that want to grow within a well-established organization.

Description

• Manage all CNC department activities and personnel
• Interface with customers for quoting of projects and materials
• Schedule all machinery maintenance & track preventative maintenance schedules
• Approve employee work hours and schedules
• Advise on methods to decrease machine downtime & improve overall department efficiency
• Orders and maintains tooling inventory and forecasting for future needs

Profile

• 5+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience (setups, troubleshooting, programming)
• 1+ year of managerial / leadership experience
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles
• Experience machining components with extremely tight tolerances
• Experience with CAM software (MasterCAM preferred)

Job Offer

• Base salary of $95,000 - $125,000 based on experience
