Construction - Project Manager (Interiors) - Brooklyn, NY
Client Details
Our client is a mid‑sized commercial interiors general contractor with a strong reputation throughout the NYC metro area. Known for their repeat clients, organized project teams, and collaborative culture, they specialize in office, tenant improvement, retail, and specialty interior buildouts.Description
- Manage commercial interior projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Oversee budgets, schedules, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and procurement.
- Lead project meetings and proactively resolve challenges to keep projects on track.
- Partner closely with Superintendents to ensure quality, safety, and smooth site execution.
Profile
A successful Senior Project Manager should have:
- Proven experience managing commercial interior construction projects in NYC.
- Strong understanding of interior sequencing, finishes, millwork, and MEP coordination.
- Highly organized, proactive, and confident communicating with clients and consultants.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines without losing attention to detail.
- A collaborative team player who takes pride in delivering standout interior spaces.
