My client is seeking a detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join a growing team in the Engineering & Manufacturing department. This role focuses on developing and optimizing CNC programs to ensure precision and efficiency in the production process.

Description

• Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs to ensure efficient and accurate manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to determine machining strategies and requirements.
• Analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to create precise CNC instructions.
• Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines to ensure smooth operation and minimize downtime.
• Conduct test runs and inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Continuously improve machining processes for increased productivity and reduced waste.
• Keep detailed records of programming modifications and machine maintenance activities.
• Stay updated with the latest CNC technology and industry best practices.

Profile

A successful CNC Programmer should have:

• Proficiency in creating and optimizing CNC programs for various machines.
• Strong understanding of engineering blueprints, CAD models, and technical specifications.
• Experience with CNC machine operation and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of G-code and M-code programming languages.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• MUST HAVE experience programming and machining using Mastercam****
• MUST HAVE 3,4 AND 5-axis programming and machining experience*****
