Assistant Project Manager - Commercial Ground Up - MA
We're seeking an Assistant Project Manager with at least 1+ years of APM experience to support the delivery of commercial construction projects, including ground-up and tenant improvement work. This role offers exposure to a wide range of sectors and the opportunity to grow within a highly respected firm.

Our client is a well-established construction management firm with over 50 years of success in New England. They specialize in commercial, retail, academic, and corporate projects ranging from $1M to $30M, with occasional larger builds. Known for their strong leadership and extremely low turnover, they value motivated individuals who want to build a long-term career.
Description
- Assist Project Managers in overseeing all phases of construction projects
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Support scheduling, budgeting, and documentation processes
- Utilize Excel and Bluebeam for project tracking and reporting
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control
- Attend site visits and progress meetings as needed
- Contribute to maintaining strong client relationships
Profile
A successful Assistant Project Manager (APM) should have:
- Minimum 1+ years of Assistant Project Management experience in construction
- Ground-up project experience strongly preferred
- Exposure to diverse sectors (commercial, retail, academic, corporate)
- Proficiency in Excel and Bluebeam
- Ability to commute to Needham, MA
- Tech-savvy, self-starter with strong communication skills
