Senior SQL Database Administrator - Remote USA - Up to $185k
This position is for a talented Senior Database Administrator with 10+ years SQL Server database administration experience to join a growing software company headquartered in Boston. This is a remote position and you MUST be based in the USA to be considered.

Description
The suitable Senior Database Administrator's responsibilities will include and are not limited to:
- Being the organization's in-house SQL Server subject matter expert.
- Providing strategic leadership and direction for the data architecture and SQL server database infrastructure of the organization
- Work with stakeholders at all levels across all disciplines in the organization to understand business needs
- Ensure ongoing system maintenance, performance, security, reliability and scalability of the databases infrastructure
- Mentor developers and also work with the DevOps team to ensure optimal use of the system
- Review and tune complex SQL statements
Profile
The ideal Senior Database Administrator will have the following experience:
- Bachelors Degree
- 10+ years Microsoft SQL Server database administration
- Data model and data design experience
- SentryOne / SQLSentry experience
- Cloud experience (preferably AWS)
- PowerShell experience
- Experience working with DevOps teams
- Excellent communication
