Description

The Interiors Superintendent - Mid-Atlantic Region will be responsible for:

  • Leading day-to-day on-site construction activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within scope
  • Coordinating and supervising all subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel on site
  • Enforcing job site safety policies and maintaining compliance with OSHA and company standards
  • Monitoring progress, identifying potential delays or issues, and implementing effective solutions
  • Conducting daily site inspections to uphold quality control and resolve field-related challenges
  • Managing project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and punch list items
  • Collaborating closely with project managers, clients, and design teams to maintain clear communication and alignment
  • Scheduling and participating in jobsite meetings with subcontractors and stakeholders
  • Reviewing drawings and specifications to ensure construction is aligned with project plans
  • Ensuring accurate site reporting through daily logs, progress photos, and updates
  • Supporting the transition from Viewpoint to Procore for project tracking and communication
  • Taking full ownership of interior renovation projects, often leading work independently
  • Meeting clearance requirements for sensitive projects (U.S. citizenship required due to client GDIT)
  • Demonstrating proactive problem-solving abilities and a strong leadership presence on site

Profile

The Interiors Superintendent - Mid-Atlantic Region will have:

  • U.S. Citizenship (required to meet federal clearance requirements for clients such as GDIT)
  • Ability to pass a background check for security clearance purposes
  • 5+ years of construction field experience, with at least 2+ years in a Superintendent role
  • Proven expertise in interior renovations and occupied space projects
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to take initiative and lead with confidence
  • Hands-on leadership style, capable of independently running day-to-day site operations
  • Familiarity with construction software, including Viewpoint and Procore (or ability to quickly learn new systems)
  • Working knowledge of building codes, safety standards (OSHA 10 or 30 preferred), and construction best practices
  • Skilled in subcontractor coordination, scheduling, site logistics, and quality control
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, architects, vendors, and internal teams
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a proactive approach to issue resolution and planning
  • Track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards
