Description
What Construction Project Estimator Will Be Doing
- Prepare accurate, detailed cost estimates for commercial Construction projects
- Analyze plans, drawings, and specifications to forecast project costs
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to align on scope and budget
- Source and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
- Monitor and update budgets throughout project execution
- Identify cost-saving strategies that maintain quality and performance
- Maintain organized records of estimates and financial documentation
- Ensure compliance with construction standards, safety codes, and internal procedures

Profile
A successful Estimator should have:
- At least 2 years of experience in construction estimating (Commercial project experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations
- Proficiency with estimating software (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Excel, or similar)
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail
- Effective communicator with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
