Regional Sales Manager - Precision Tooling - Southeast

Client Details
Our client, a leading provider of precision spindle and slide solutions, is seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to drive sales growth across the Southeast U.S. The ideal candidate will be responsible for business development, account management, and technical sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction and revenue expansion. This role involves frequent travel within the region and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to support manufacturing and service sales.
Description
- Manage and develop a regional portfolio of accounts, identifying new opportunities and expanding existing relationships to achieve sales targets.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing technical consultation on precision spindle and slide solutions.
- Lead sales activities including prospecting, cold calling, client visits, presentations, and negotiations.
- Oversee projects from product selection through order fulfillment, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction
- Utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce and ZoomInfo to track sales activities, manage leads, and forecast pipeline growth.
- Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives to enhance market share and revenue.
- Gather and analyze technical data to prepare accurate proposals for new products and service solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and operations, to ensure seamless order processing and customer support.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings, positioning the brand as a leader in precision machine tool solutions.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales within the industrial machinery or machine tool components sector.
- Strong knowledge of precision machinery, spindles, slides, motors, drives, control systems, and technical drawings.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and drive business growth.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a self-motivated and results-oriented approach.
- Experience in project management and strategic sales planning.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time within the Southeast U.S., with 25% office-based activity for planning and customer engagement.
