Description

• Oversee day‑to‑day onsite construction activities for commercial and healthcare interior projects.
• Manage subcontractors, coordinate trade sequencing, maintain schedules, and ensure top-tier quality standards.
• Enforce strict safety protocols, DOB compliance, and healthcare facility requirements, including infection control and noise mitigation.
• Conduct site inspections, maintain daily reports, and ensure work aligns with design intent and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers to drive progress, resolve challenges, and maintain clear communication with project stakeholders.
• Serve as the professional, client-facing representative onsite, ensuring smooth operations in active healthcare environments.

Profile

A successful Superintendent should have:

• Must hold a valid NYC DOB Superintendent License.
• Strong experience supervising commercial healthcare or medical interior construction-including clinics, patient areas, labs, imaging rooms, or similar environments.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple trades in fast-paced settings.
• Deep understanding of healthcare construction standards, interior sequencing, MEP coordination, finishes, and compliance requirements.
• A detail‑focused, proactive leader who takes pride in safety, quality, and creating smooth project flow.
