Client Details
My client is a well known manufacturer of metal forged, welded, machined, and assembled parts supplying heat transfers to many top brands across multiple industries. As business picks up in the next 8-12 months, they're going to need a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to head up a team working specifically on New Process Integration for new, customized solutions they're getting business for.
Description
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Developing creative engineering solutions to address production challenges, quality control issues, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Designing new machinery and upgrading existing equipment to improve production capabilities and operational efficiency
- Identifying and collaborating with contractors and suppliers to integrate advanced technologies and cost-effective solutions, while managing supplier relationships and ensuring data accuracy
- Leading large-scale engineering projects, overseeing task delegation to team members, managing project budgets, and implementing innovative technologies at the facility
- Championing and defining continuous improvement projects throughout production, working closely with associates to enhance processes and efficiency
- Conceptualizing and leading projects focused on reducing operational costs
- Analyzing and refining manufacturing processes for both new and existing products to meet optimal cost and quality benchmarks, including responsibilities in process engineering, industrial engineering, tooling procurement, waste reduction, and troubleshooting
- Spearheading the implementation and ongoing refinement of lean manufacturing principles, systematically identifying and eliminating waste
Profile
The successful appliance will possess the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (not required)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably within a precision manufacturing or final assembly environment
- Minimum of 3 years in a Managerial capacity & overseeing Manufacturing Engineers
- Proven project management skills with a successful track record of managing large projects from inception to completion
- Expertise in process engineering, equipment design, and methodologies for continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma)
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of fostering collaboration across all organizational levels
- Strong capabilities in project budget management and supplier/vendor relations

Job Offer
- Base salary $130,000- $160,000 depending on experience
- Annual bonus incentive based on site performance + personal metrics
