Manufacturing - Operations Engineer - Cranston, RI
As an Operations Engineer, you will oversee and organize operational processes within electroplating manufacturing. This role offers the opportunity to apply technical expertise, troubleshoot challenges, and implement improvements while developing leadership skills. You'll collaborate across departments to ensure efficiency, compliance, and innovation.

Description
Responsibilities:
- Support daily electroplating operations across production, quality control, and R&D.
- Apply chemistry and electroplating knowledge to troubleshoot and optimize processes.
- Assist in implementing operational improvements for efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and sales teams to align operations with business goals.
- Gain experience in budgeting, procurement, and inventory management.
- Participate in training programs and contribute innovative ideas.
- Help establish and monitor KPIs for plating quality and operational efficiency.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks to maintain a safe work environment.
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field.
- 2-10 years of experience in engineering or management roles (or relevant internships).
- Basic understanding of chemical reactions and metal deposition processes.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Passion for learning and process optimization.
