Industrial - Process Engineer - Dover, NH
Reporting to the Engineering Director, the Process Engineer will lead the development and enhancement of products and processes while troubleshooting production issues and ensuring all operations meet manufacturing requirements. This hands-on role involves close collaboration with operations, quality teams, suppliers, and customers to drive improvements, document processes, and manage product development from quote through prototype to production launch.

Description
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and improve manufacturing processes to increase yield and reduce defects
- Develop new processes for molding, material prep, die cutting, and post-cure
- Review product and process quality, design fixtures, and manage tooling modifications
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure tools meet customer specs
- Work with customer service and quality to meet customer requirements
- Manage development projects from intake to production release
- Apply technical knowledge to design processes, tooling, and fixtures
- Simulate mold movements for new design approval
- Ensure safety compliance and encourage safe practices on the shop floor
- Other duties as assigned
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in rubber molding processes
- Expertise in rubber-to-metal bonding techniques and troubleshooting
- Proficient with SolidWorks for solid modeling
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Project management experience for simple project assignments
- Proven experience as a Process Engineer in a rubber molding environment
- Strong, fair, and even-tempered with excellent problem-solving skills
- Team-oriented with great communication abilities
- Experienced in molding and job shop environments
- Capable of handling multiple priorities efficiently
- Proactive, conscientious, and customer-focused
- Proficient with solid modeling and familiar with ERP systems
- Skilled in customer-focused problem-solving and troubleshooting complex manufacturing processes
- Knowledgeable in quality control principles, Lean Six Sigma, and product realization
