Senior Project Accountant
Seeking an experienced Senior Project Accountant to manage billing, project cost accounting, and process improvements for construction projects.

Description
Manage the monthly customer billing cycle, ensuring timely and accurate communication with clients regarding payment requirements.
Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances as necessary.
Process subcontractor payments in accordance with established timelines and accuracy standards.
Collect and maintain compliance documentation.
Participate in job close-out activities.
Support internal and external audits while ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
Identify and implement process improvements and enhancements in the ERP system.

Contribute to core accounting functions, including:
Monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger reconciliations
Month-end and year-end close processes
Preparation of financial reports and account analyses
Review of account and bank reconciliations
Development and application of financial controls and procedures
Profile
In-depth knowledge of construction project accounting
5+ years of experience in project accounting
Proven track record in project invoicing and billing
Strong grasp of job cost accounting, percentage-of-completion revenue recognition, and WIP reporting
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal project management teams and external partners
Process improvement mindset and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience with CMiC (preferred)
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
