Client Details

Our client is a growing general contractor in the Pacific Northwest with a massive portfolio of projects specializing in ground up and tenant improvement commercial projects. Their project mainly focusing in the health care, life science, and tech/ data centers. This company is looking for individuals that are passionate about the projects they work on as well as looking for hard working individuals that can problem solve all different situations. This general contractor offers a wide range of construction planning and management service and they are committed to understanding their client's needs, as well as their employees needs to be successful.

Description

  • The project manager should be capable of managing large and complex projects, should be capable of managing multiple lesser projects, and should have demonstrated ability to manage through subordinate staff
  • Working for a reputable General Contractor with local projects and consistent customers in Seattle, WA
  • Strong Commercial project pipeline with a focus on mixed commercial projects such as: health care, life science, and tech/ data centers.
  • Fluently read and interpret specifications and plans
  • Supervise work of subcontractors and laborers
  • Ensure timely ordering, delivery, and storage of materials on the job site
  • Maintain accurate drawings, specifications, and schedules
  • Create and oversee punch lists and ensure completion of all related work prior to inspections
  • Identify and communicate issues to the construction team
  • Collaboration with other Project Managers and the Team to develop, refine, and update project schedules to ensure all milestones are identified and tracked

Profile

  • 5+ years in Commercial Construction specializing in commercial construction.
  • Has 3+ years of experience being a senior project engineer
  • Has a bachelor's degree in construction management or related field (preferred)
  • Strong oral communication and written skills
  • Ability to successful manage all aspects of commercial projects/ multi-family including schedules, budgets, and profitability through comprehensive project completion
  • Time management skills- making sure everything is on time and completed thoroughly
  • Able to show leadership qualities and run teams to successful pre-construction to close out
  • Software skills: Bluebeam, procore, P6, and Microsoft scheduling
